By December 31, if you have an account in any bank, it is imperative to link your account with the Aadhaar Card. Failure to link your account may result in transaction issues, and your account could face closure.
Steps to update Aadhaar in your Union Bank Accounts
As per the amendments under the Prevention of Money Laundering (Maintenance of Records) Second Amendment Rules, 2017, all accounts must be Aadhaar-seeded and authenticated with biometric or Yes-No facility.
To facilitate customers in seeding Aadhaar or authenticating already seeded accounts, our bank provides a secure web page. Customers can use this service from the comfort of their homes. Since the process is OTP-based, only customers with updated mobile numbers in both bank accounts and Aadhaar databases can use this facility.

We recommend the following steps:
Step 1: Enter the valid account number and Aadhaar Number, then click on the “Continue” button. You will receive an OTP (One Time Password) on your registered mobile.
Step 2: Enter the OTP and Captcha, then click on Validate. Once the OTP is validated, you will be redirected to another page prompting for your Aadhaar Number.
Step 3: Enter the Aadhaar Number, click on “Continue” Button, and you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile with UAIDI. Enter the received OTP from UAIDI and validate it. Once successful, your personal details will be displayed.
Linking Your Aadhaar Card to Your Union Account through Offline:
Before starting the offline linking process, ensure you have the original and photocopy of your Aadhaar Card, your Union Bank of India passbook, and the Aadhaar Card linking form available for download on the Union Bank of India website or at your nearest Union Branch.
Fill in the required details in the form, including your branch name, Union account number, name and address as per the Aadhaar Card, and your Aadhaar Number or Aadhar UID number. Attach a photocopy of your Aadhaar Card with the form. Visit your bank branch to submit the application to a representative or official. The bank will verify your details, accept the original Aadhaar Card, and start the verification process. Upon successful verification, you will be notified that your Aadhaar Card is linked to your Union Bank of India account.
